We have just added an archive and moved a couple of cameras around. Unfortunately, the great tit that was incubating eggs in box 5  was last seen on the morning of 17th May. The blue tits in the other boxes seem to be ok. Here is some detail of the events of the last couple of months:

Box 1 – Blue tits: 17/4, 1st egg; 25/4, 6 eggs; 28/4, 8 eggs; 30/4, 11 eggs; 1/5, incubating; 16/5, hatched

Box 2 – Blue tit roosted until the end of March and made occasional visits in April. No activity in May so the camera has been removed.

Box 3 – Great tit visited in March but blue tits moved in at the end of March. 8/3 blue tits arrived; 27/4, nest started; 11/5, 1st egg in part complete nest; 15/5, 4 eggs; 17/5, 6 eggs; 18/5, incubation started (7 or 8 eggs)

Box 4 – Blue Tits; 26/3, nesting started; 26/4, 1st egg; 30/4, 5 eggs; 2/5, 6 or 7 eggs; 15/5, hatched.

Box 5 – Great Tits; 1/3, great tit started roosting; 18/4 nest building started; 3/5 laying started; 9/5 incubation started; 17/5 last time birds were seen, nest abandoned.

Box 6 – No camera, blue tits nesting.

Box 7 – A blue tit has been roosting here since February. Despite visits by male and female, no nest has been built. The male (?) still roosts here at night.
