Sorry, we have not updated this diary for a while. Here is the current status of the blue tit families:

Box 2 – The female left the nest early one morning and did not return. There has been no further activity and unfortunately the chicks did not survive.

Box 4 – 6 chicks fledged on the 8th June.

Box 5 – 5 chicks fledged, 3 on 12th June and 2 on 13th June.

Box 7 – The scruffy family. 4 chicks seem to be ok and growing. It may be another week before they fledge.
