Box 2 – Occasional visits from blue tits and great tits
Box 3 – Occasional visits from blue tits and great tits. Some nest material, possibly brought by the great tits.
Box 4 – A blue tit roosts at nigh and great tits are building a nest during the day. They must meet some time!
Box 5 – One inspection by a blue tit otherwise just spiders.
Box 7 – After a period of inactivity, a blue tit made a couple of visits today.
Box 8 – A few eggs laid. It is hard to see how many as they are well covered.]]>

Box 1 – 9/10 blue tit eggs hatched and all 9 chicks fledged on 25th May. Archived here.
Box 2 – 4 blue tit eggs hatched. sadly, the nest was deserted well before they were ready to fledge.
Box 3 – 4/5 Great tit eggs hatched but only 2 chicks made it to fledge.
Box 4 – A blue tit nest was part built but not used. Archive for boxes 2, 3 & 4.
Box 5 – 3 or 4 Great tit eggs hatched but only one chick fledged today. Box 5 Archive.
Box 7 – This may have been too close to the woodpecker nest. There were early visits by a pair of blue tits but no nest was built.
Box 8 – 8/9 Blue tit eggs hatched but disaster struck just as the chicks were ready to fledge. The parents did not return one afternoon and the chicks died. Boxes 7 & 8 archive.
Woodpeckers – A pair of woodpecker nested in a tree quite close to box 7. Whilst this probably resulted in box 7 not being used, the nest was within range of a network switch & power so we were able to install a camera. 2 chicks fledged on 25th May. Woodpecker archive.]]>
2 woodpecker chicks fledged today. The 1st one followed its father. The second seemed to exit in a less controlled manner.

Box 4 – Blue tits part built a nest but it has been abandoned. Camera off.
Box 5 – It looks like there is only one great tit chick surviving. It is difficult to see what is happening as it has a side view camera.
Box 7 – Apart from a few visits by blue tits, nothing much has happened here.
Box 8 – Very sad, the 8 blue tit chicks were doing well. A few days ago the parents stopped visiting and the chicks died.

Box 2 – The female left the nest early one morning and did not return. There has been no further activity and unfortunately the chicks did not survive.
Box 4 – 6 chicks fledged on the 8th June.
Box 5 – 5 chicks fledged, 3 on 12th June and 2 on 13th June.
Box 7 – The scruffy family. 4 chicks seem to be ok and growing. It may be another week before they fledge.]]>
