- Web Site Problems - Today,
our hosting provider had server problems and the updates have been
intermittent. Hopefully it is fixed now.
- Box 1 6 of the 7 chicks
fledged within a few minutes of each other at around 09:00 on 26th May. One
died a few days prior.
- Box 2 Looks like the 8 chicks
are progressing.
- Box 4One chick fledged
today.
- Box 5 5 (?) chicks fledged
today leaving 2. The parents are still feeding those left behind.
- Box 7 It seems like the
female has finally given up on her eggs after incubating for more than a
month.

- Box 1 It looks like at
least 7 of the 8 great tits have survived so far and are being fed by both
parents.
- Box 2 Probably 8 of the
10 blue tits hatched on the 13th May. Both parents feeding.
- Box 4 4 of the 7 eggs
hatched in the end. Chicks seem to be doing ok with both parents feeding
them.
- Box 5 The blue tit
chicks hatched a few days ago but the birds still insist on blocking the
camera. Both parents feeding.
- Box 7 The female blue
tit is still incubating but the male has not been seen for a week or so. There
was a visit from a woodpecker during the last week. Not looking very
good.

Incubation
started, a few days ago, on 10 great tit eggs in box 1 and 7 blue tit eggs in
box 4.
Camera
views from boxes 5 & 7 are partially obscured although box 7 is clearing.
Once roosting starts, the nest material should be flattened and the views will
be better.
Higher resolution, timed update, pictures from box 4 have been
added.
Greetings
to Gitta, Betty et al at webmadarasz.forumx.hu where there are some
captures from our boxes. |
