9 eggs were laid and all appear to have hatched. One chick died early and a further 3 died soon after the disappearance of the female, on 26th May. Some time prior to her disappearance, she lost her tail feathers. The male continued to feed the remaining 5 chicks. One of these died and one fledged on or about the 2nd June. The final 3 eventually fledged on 4th June. They all looked quite scruffy.
